Kristin Carpenter
Kristin Carpenter - Songwriter
Kristin Carpenter might seem like a newcomer in the music industry but her earliest memory is with a guitar, no, not a toy guitar but a real guitar, given to her parents by the tender age of three. Born in Boston, Kristin moved to Värmdö, a suburb outside of Stockholm, when she was six years old. From then on it was years of violin, dance, acting and choir at Adolf Fredriks Musikklasser, studying drama in high school and applying (and winning!) different kinds of songwriting contests.
Kristin has been writing professionally for others since her late teens. For the past few years, she’s been working with Swedish artists like NOTD, Shy Martin, LOVA and international stars like Greyson Chance, Michael Clifford (5SOS), Jasmine Thompson and Mae Muller.
In 2020, Kristin co-wrote and sung on K391, Alan Walker, Ahrix’s bedroom producer anthem “End of time”. The single peaked #4 in Norway. Kristin also penned hits with and for artists like Shy Martin, Mia Rodriguez and K-pop star Hwa Sa.
Kristin Carpenter is published by The Very Good Music Publishing, administrated by Sony Music Publishing.
