Noonie Bao is one of the most prominent songwriters of the last decade with a whopping 15 Bn streams across her releases.
She has co-written multiple global hits, chart topping radio records and award winning songs. Her impressive catalogue contains co-writes with artists such as Sam Smith, Halsey, Camila Cabello, Katy Perry, Avicii, Ava Max, Zedd & Alessia Cara, Kygo, Charli XCX, Clean Bandit, David Guetta and many many more.
Most recently, Noonie co-wrote the viral global hit Apple, by Charli XCX. Their 28th release together.
In 2020-2021 Noonie contributed on two songs on Sam Smiths album “Love Goes”, Halseys album “Maniac” and Ava Max’s sleeper hit single “Who’s Laughing Now”.
In 2017-2018 Noonie wrote two of the biggest US Radio records of each respective year. “Never Be The Same” by Camila Cabello in 2018 and “Stay” by Zedd & Alessia Cara in 2017, which was also nominated for a US Grammy at the 60th annual Grammy Awards in February 2018 and has to date amassed over 1,2Bn streams on Spotify alone. In 2018 she also co-wrote “Let You Love Me” By Rita Ora, “Don’t leave me alone” by David Guetta & Anne Marie as well as “Happy Now” by Zedd & Elley Duhé, all top 3 radio records across Europe and 3-500M+ streams each on Spotify a year and some later. In the same year Noonie also won Songwriter of the year at the Swedish Grammy Awards.
In the years leading up to these achievements Noonie participated on Katy Perrys album “Whitneys” in 2017, co-wrote Mø’s feel good global anthem “Final Song” in 2016 as well as “Alone” by Alan Walker and “I Could Be The One” with Avicii & Nicky Romero. The latter two also featuring her vocals.
One of Noonies closest collaborators throughout the years is Charli XCX. Noonie and her have written songs for several artists together but even more so for Charli herself with close to 30 songs co-written by the duo on Charlis releases starting with “Doing it” in 2014 up until multiple songs including “1999” feat Troye Sivan on Charli’s 2019 album “Charli” and “Good Ones” in 2021 from the album “Crash” (2022) to the global viral hit “Apple” from “Brat” (2024)
Noonie has consistently delivered interesting left of center as well as massive Top 40 global pop smashes over the last decade and is continuously working with groundbreaking and global artists.
